Will you have (this program) this year? Will there be programs for (this age range/grade)?

At the moment, we typically have classes for students and teachers in fall, spring, and summer. Fall and spring typically consist of our Novel Writing course for students as well as a professional development course for our teachers. Summer usually consists of Novel Writing and Teen Writer's Institute for 7th-12th graders, and again a professional development course for teachers. We do not hold classes over the winter semester.

Our programming changes from season to season, so please check back in with us every so often to see what we have planned! The best way to find out what we're up to is to sign up for our mailing list, which you can access at the bottom of the page or here.

Are there any job or volunteer opportunities?
We are a small team working under a federal budget. While we don't typically have job openings, you are more than welcome to send us an email with your qualifications and ask if we are hiring. We do also appreciate volunteers applications!

Are there any other writing classes or tutoring programs in the Bay Area for students?
While we're sure there are plenty of lovely programs out there, we do not keep ourselves up to date on other classes in the area. We recommend searching event hosting websites such as GetGalore/Care.com and Eventbrite,  or program directory sites such as InPlay and School and College Listings.
